Hi Friend. Welcome to my handmade Farmer’s Market
I hope you enjoy this fun little project I dreamt up a few weeks ago. This idea came to me for two reasons. one. As a frequent Farmer’s Market visitor. I often fixate on all the old wooden crates and how items are displayed inside them. My thoughts wander and then this idea popped into my head. Pretty much that's how inspiration strikes right?! It happens anytime and anywhere. I get inspiration from everyone and everything.
My number two reason. I had also bought this adorable carrot-shaped garden post that I was suppose to use for Easter this year. But that didn't happen. No worries. I already had other ideas of how I would use it and believe me. This isn't going to be it's last appearance on this blog.
Now that you read this far in, Let’s get into the details. These little wooden crate boxes are actually made out of cardstock paper! Yes. 100% cardstock paper that I stained with stamping ink to create an old weathered wooden look. As for the jute twine veggies. I found those at the World Market during Spring/Easter season and was sad to find out that once they sell-out. They don't reorder the items again. Each set of veggies came in bunches of three (peas, carrots, pearl onions and radishes).

*Please note. I tweaked my crate boxes a little by Elongating them to fit my veggie items inside. Also. I stained my cardstock paper for a weathered look to resemble real wood. wood sign labels were created by using the rectangle and ellipse shapes in the silhouette studio.
I hope you get a little inspiration to create a little Farmer’s Market of your own this summer.
